Now, let’s get back to the kitchenWith very little time, you will have yourself some freshly baked and delicious vegan chocolate chip cookies.

  • 1 stick of vegan butter  
  • cup of brown vegan sugar 
  • ¼ cup of applesauce  
  • A pinch of salt 
  • 2 tbsp caster sugar 
  • tsp vanilla bean extract 
  • tbsp of non-dairy milk 
  • cups of all-purpose flour 
  • ½ tsp baking powder 
  • ½ tsp baking soda 
  • tbsp cornstarch  
  • 1 cup of dairy-free dark chocolate chips  


  • Preheat the oven to 350* and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 
  • Place the vegan butter, brown vegan sugar, and caster sugar in a bowl and whisk until fluffy. 
  • Whisk in the vanilla bean extract and applesauce. 
  • Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cornstarch together, then mix into the bowl. 
  • Add the chocolate chips and stir through. The dough may be stiff. 
  • Pour the dairy-free milk in and mix.  
  • Divide the dough into eight portions and roll each into a ball.  
  • Place them spaced apart on the baking tray and flatten slightly.  
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until pale golden. 
  • Let them cool for 10 minutes. 
  • Enjoy!
